This raw Pyrite chunk weighs approximately 30-40g. Each piece is unique and may vary in shape and shade intensity. It is ideal as part of your crystal altar, can even be used in plants or whatever else your intuition tells you.
GEOLOGY
Unbelievable to some, the brass-yellow Pyrite usually forms in shiny cubic, octahedron and pyritohedron formations on mother rocks. But can also be found in discs and big chunks. Pyrite is one of the most common sulphide minerals and occurs when bacteria reduce sulphate ions to sulphide. Sometimes it also contains small traces of gold, nickel and silver.
Born worldwide, but mainly in Peru, Spain and China.
